PUCA Donates ₹11 Lakh to Punjab Flood Relief Fund

Rajpura, September 2: Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) has contributed ₹11 lakh to the Punjab Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund. The cheque was formally handed over by PUCA Chairman and Aryans Group of Colleges Chairman, Dr. Anshu Kataria, to Punjab Education Minister Mr. Harjot Singh Bains.

Senior Vice General Secretary Mr. Sumaninder Singh Baliya, LPU Chancellor Mr. Manmohan Singh Arora, and other dignitaries were present during the occasion.

Dr. Kataria said PUCA has always believed in fulfilling its social responsibility. He noted that several institutions, including Aryans Group, Akal Group, LSD Group, and Ram Devi Jindal Group, have come forward to support society in challenging times.

“This contribution will provide relief to flood victims. PUCA will continue to stand with the Punjab Government in addressing crises and supporting affected communities,” Dr. Kataria stated.

Thousands of families in Punjab have lost homes, livelihoods, and resources due to recent floods. PUCA reaffirmed its commitment to extend help and solidarity with those affected.
