Hyundai Professional Development Centre Inaugurated at Government ITI Udhampur

The Hyundai Professional Development Centre was inaugurated today at Government ITI Udhampur, marking a significant milestone in skill development initiatives in the region. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Director of Skill Development J&K, O.P. Bhagat, who was the Chief Guest at the event. The ceremony also saw the presence of Vinod Kumar, Regional Head North Zone (HIML), as the Guest of Honor.

The event began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Among those in attendance were Joint Director Skill Development Jammu, Arun Prakash, Chairman IMC ITI Udhampur, members of IMC, and representatives from Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), along with other stakeholders.

In his inaugural address, Director Skill Development O.P. Bhagat praised the initiative of establishing the Hyundai Professional Development Centre at ITI Udhampur. He highlighted that this collaboration between Hyundai and ITI Udhampur is a progressive step towards enhancing advanced skills and modern training techniques for students. “The inauguration of the Hyundai Professional Development Centre is a great step towards equipping students with the skills needed for better employment opportunities,” Bhagat noted.

The Hyundai Professional Development Centre is designed to provide cutting-edge training in automotive technology, offering students access to world-class tools and resources. This initiative is expected to bridge the gap between education and employment by ensuring that students are equipped with the skills that are in high demand in the automotive industry.
