The Jammu and Kashmir Government initiated an administrative reshuffle on Wednesday, resulting in the transfer and posting of Chief Education Officers (CEOs) in the School Education Department. This decision aims to improve the functioning of educational administration.
In a detailed order released by the department, the government transferred Mohammad Hafiz, who has been serving as the Chief Education Officer for Doda. He takes on the new role as I/C CEO Rajouri, effective immediately. His experience in managing educational programs in Doda is expected to bring fresh perspectives to the Rajouri district.
In a reciprocal arrangement, Iqtal Hussain, who previously held the post of I/C CEO Rajouri, has been transferred to take over as I/C CEO Doda. This transition aims to leverage Hussain’s administrative skills and his understanding of regional educational challenges.
The Jammu & Kashmir School Education Department continues to adapt and evolve to better serve the needs of students and educators. These changes come as part of a broader strategy to enhance administrative efficiency and promote effective educational policies across the region.
The Secretary of the School Education Department emphasized that these transfers will play a crucial role in improving governance and accountability in school education.
