In response to the growing concerns over a series of deaths in Budhal village, Rajouri district, the Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, has urged the public not to panic. She assured that thorough investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of these unfortunate deaths.
Speaking on the matter, Sakeena Itoo informed that a dedicated team from the Health Department had visited the affected village and conducted a comprehensive door-to-door survey, covering over 3,000 individuals. As part of the investigation, the teams collected various samples, including water, food, and other relevant substances, all of which have been sent for testing.
“All the tests conducted, including those on water, food grains, biscuits, and other items consumed, have returned negative results,” the Minister confirmed. She reassured the public that all reports so far do not point to any contamination or widespread health hazard.
