Manipur fencers delivered stellar performances as they claimed Gold medals in both the U-14 Boys Epee and Sabre events at the 68th National School Games being held at the University of Jammu’s Gymnasium Hall.
In the U-14 Boys Sabre team event, the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) team, consisting of Devkaran Singh, Parv Mahajan, Harnidh Singh, and Shivansh Sharma, earned a well-deserved Silver medal. Punjab took the Gold, while Maharashtra and Punjab shared the Bronze.
Maharashtra’s U-14 Girls Foil Team Triumphs
In the U-14 Girls Foil event, Maharashtra emerged as the Gold medalists, followed by Manipur, who took home the Silver. Gujarat and Delhi shared the Bronze in the category, adding to the diversity of medal winners across various states.
