Srinagar, Oct 30 — Three talented siblings from Kashmir are gaining attention on social media for their impressive portrait of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, created entirely from Rubik’s cubes. Abdullah himself shared a video of the artwork on various platforms, expressing his admiration for the striking resemblance.
“That’s amazing. I’ve never had such a clever likeness of mine done before. Thank you very much for this. May Allah bless both of you with a lifetime of happiness, good health, and success,” Abdullah commented on X.
The children’s father, Mohammad Younis Beigh, explained that their passion for the Rubik’s Cube began in 2021 when he brought the World Cube Association (WBA) to Kashmir. The event featured top cubing talents, including Aryan Chhabra, who can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under 10 seconds, which inspired his sons to take up cubing.
Beigh shared that his two sons, Mohammad bin Younis and Abu Bakr, aged 13 and 11, are certified cubers. Their six-year-old sister, Aamina, developed an interest in the hobby after watching her brothers practice.
In a heartfelt message to the Chief Minister, Abu Bakr said, “Mr. CM, every student hopes that every piece in this mosaic adds to our bright future.” The siblings previously created a mosaic of social media influencer Dhruv Rathee, which they also showcased online.
