Dr. Tahir Rufayee, National Chairman of the National Foundation for Journalism and Media (NFJM), paid heartfelt tributes to the brave martyrs of the February 14 Pulwama attack, recalling their supreme sacrifice for the nation.

On this solemn day, Dr. Rufayee honored the memory of the 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the tragic terror attack at Lethpora in Pulwama district in 2019. He described their sacrifice as a symbol of unwavering courage, dedication, and patriotism.

In a press statement issued today, Dr. Rufayee stated that February 14 remains a day of deep remembrance and national reflection. He emphasized that the nation stands united in honoring the martyrs and reaffirmed collective commitment toward peace, security, and national integrity.

He urged citizens, especially the youth, to draw inspiration from the valor of the fallen heroes and to contribute positively toward nation-building. He also extended solidarity to the families of the martyrs, acknowledging their immeasurable loss and resilience.

Dr. Rufayee further stated that the sacrifices of the Pulwama martyrs will never be forgotten and that their legacy will continue to inspire generations. He called for unity and collective strength in the face of challenges and reiterated the importance of standing firm against terrorism.

The tribute ceremony concluded with a moment of silence in remembrance of the bravehearts who laid down their lives in service to the nation.
