Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya convened a meeting today to review the establishment and operations of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) across the district. The discussion centered on resolving issues related to the issuance of licenses, operational challenges, and enhancing the overall efficiency of these service centers.

Key topics included evaluating the transactions and earnings of the KKGs, with an aim to ensure they effectively meet the needs of farmers. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of making KKGs reliable hubs for agriculture and allied services at the grassroots level.

In the first phase of the initiative, 100 KKGs have been made operational, serving as one-stop service centers at the panchayat level. These centers provide a range of services to farmers, facilitating easy access to resources and guidance.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Sher Singh, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer Vinod Kundal, Assistant Director Fisheries Munish Sharma, and other concerned officers.

Later, the DC also chaired a District Level Committee meeting on the Holistic Agriculture Development Program. The committee reviewed and scrutinized applications seeking benefits under the program, ensuring a transparent and efficient process for extending support to farmers.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the administration’s commitment to strengthening the agriculture sector and empowering farmers through initiatives like Kisan Khidmat Ghars and other farmer-centric programs.
