Mumbai, Nov 12: In a major campaign push, BJP’s top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and several prominent ministers and chief ministers, will criss-cross Maharashtra on Tuesday to bolster support for BJP and MahaYuti candidates ahead of the Assembly elections set for November 20.

Prime Minister Modi, who has already addressed four rallies, will hold public meetings in Chimur, Solapur, and Pune. Meanwhile, Amit Shah will lead rallies in Ghatkopar (North East Mumbai) and Kandivali (North Mumbai). Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is scheduled to address seven meetings in key areas such as Devani, Killari, Patoda, South West Nagpur, and Nagpur Central.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to visit Akola, Amravati, and Nagpur, while Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will hold a press conference in Mumbai. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani will rally support in Shirpur, Umred, Nagpur Central, Nagpur East, and Nagpur North. Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy, Shobha Karandlaje, and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur will also address a press conference in Mumbai.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is scheduled to lead rallies in Dahanu, Vikramgad, Sion Koliwada, and Kalyan, and BJP’s Rashtriya Mahila Morcha President Vanathi Srinivasan will visit Malad in North Mumbai.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal, highlighting the BJP’s newly released manifesto, said it provides a comprehensive vision for Maharashtra’s development by 2029, pledging swift action on key promises. He noted that the MahaYuti alliance is committed to inclusive growth, contrasting it with the Maha Vikas Aghadi, which he dubbed “Maha Vinash Aghadi” and accused of failing to deliver on past promises.

“The people have lost trust in the MVA, and we are confident of a bright future under MahaYuti,” Goyal added, asserting the alliance’s readiness to govern with a strong development-focused agenda.
