Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah conducted an aerial survey on Thursday of villages severely impacted by flooding in the Kathua district. This natural calamity has devastated many homes, leaving numerous families in distress.
During the survey, Abdullah interacted with residents of Duggain village in Billawar, where flooding damaged several houses. Officials reported a heart-wrenching scene as families shared their struggles with the chief minister, calling for urgent aid.
Abdullah chaired an emergency meeting with district administration officers, emphasizing the need for immediate relief efforts.
