CM Yogi Adityanath Calls for Renaming Suhelwa Wildlife Sanctuary and Reviews Development Plans

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has proposed renaming Suhelwa Wildlife Sanctuary in Gonda to Suheldev Wildlife Sanctuary while reviewing developmental projects in the region.

Key Directives from CM’s Review Meeting

  • Public Awareness & Infrastructure Development:
    • A three-day fair (March 25-27) will be held at district headquarters to highlight government achievements and schemes.
    • Road issues under the Jal Jeevan Mission should be resolved immediately.
    • Loan facilities should be extended to more beneficiaries under the CM Udyam Vikas Abhiyan Yojana.
    • Flood-prevention measures, including embankment construction, must be prioritized.
  • Project Accountability & Timely Completion:
    • Nodal officers will be appointed for all major projects.
    • Delays in construction work will lead to action against responsible officials.
    • Institutions like Government Engineering College Gonda and Maa Pateshwari University Balrampur must be completed on time.
    • No unnecessary cost escalation or misuse of government funds will be tolerated.
  • Revenue & Law Enforcement Measures:
    • Pending revenue cases must be resolved tehsil-wise to maintain government efficiency.
    • Special courts should be set up to handle backlogged and new revenue cases efficiently.
    • Illegal liquor smuggling from Nepal and sales of adulterated liquor must be strictly stopped.
    • Police should curb middlemen in RTO offices and conduct verification of all e-rickshaw drivers.
    • Minors must not be allowed to drive vehicles.
  • Enhancing Public Services & Civic Infrastructure:
    • Roads across all divisions should be properly maintained.
    • Old and hazardous electrical wires should be replaced.
    • Drinking water and sewer issues must be resolved.
    • Public complaints related to police stations and tehsils should be addressed seriously.
  • Education & Rural Development:
    • Vantangia villages should be included in the revenue village category for better development.
    • Aspirational blocks should receive special attention to accelerate their growth.
    • School education must be improved, and officers should ensure that government schemes benefit all students.

Yogi Adityanath emphasized zero tolerance for corruption and directed all departments to work efficiently for the welfare of the people.
