On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the founder of the Maratha empire, Chhatrapati Shivaji, on his birth anniversary.
In a post on X, Modi praised Shivaji’s valour and visionary leadership, saying, “His valour and visionary leadership laid the foundation for Swarajya, inspiring generations to uphold the values of courage and justice. He inspires us in building a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous India.”
