Prime Minister Modi’s Statement on 8th Pay Commission

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Thursday that the Government has decided to constitute the 8th Pay Commission, a move expected to enhance consumption and significantly improve the quality of life for government employees.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to government employees for their role in nation-building. He stated, “We are all proud of the efforts of all Government employees, who work to build a Viksit Bharat. The Cabinet’s decision on the 8th Pay Commission will improve quality of life and give a boost to consumption.”
