Army Public School Samba Hosts One-Day Visit by Govt. Middle School, Mandi Garh under Project Vidyanjali

Army Public School Samba (APS) welcomed students and teachers from Govt. Middle School, Mandi Garh, as part of the Ministry of Education’s Vidyanjali Project. This initiative aims to foster greater unity, exchange of ideas, and multi-dimensional exposure for students.


A Warm Welcome: The Beginning of a Memorable Day

The day began with a warm and enthusiastic welcome extended by Mr. Sanjeev Pradhan, Principal of APS Samba, and the school’s Vice Principal, Mr. Sunil Kumar. Also present were the Presiding Teacher, Mr. Sunil Kumar, and Vidyanjali Committee members, Ms. Shilpa Sharma and Ms. Anita Sambyal. Their heartfelt greeting set the tone for a day filled with excitement and learning.


Exploring State-of-the-Art Facilities: A Comprehensive Tour

The students from Govt. Middle School, Mandi Garh, were given an in-depth tour of APS Samba’s impressive infrastructure. The visit included:

  • Nakshatra Garden – A serene space where students can learn about different constellations.
  • Herbal Garden – Offering insights into medicinal plants and their uses.
  • Shooting Range – An exciting facility for developing shooting skills.
  • Language Lab & ATL Lab – Designed for enhancing language skills and fostering creativity.
  • Computer Lab & Maths Park – Engaging students in the world of technology and mathematics.
  • Science Park – A hands-on experience in the wonders of science.

Fun & Games: Building Team Spirit

In addition to exploring educational facilities, students participated in various sports activities that promoted physical well-being and team spirit. The games included:

  • Kho-Kho
  • Volleyball
  • Badminton

The friendly competitions fostered a spirit of camaraderie and helped bridge the gap between the students from both schools.
